Dr. Chih-Chung Huang was born in Taiwan. He received the B.S.,M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Chung Yuan Christian University, Chung-Li, Taiwan, in 2002, 2003, and 2007, respectively. From 2006 to 2007, he worked at NIH Resource Center for Medical Ultrasonic Transducer Technology at the
University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA as a Visiting Researcher. In 2012, Dr. Huang was promoted as an Associate Professor. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at Department of Biomedical Engineering, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. His research interests include ultrasonic issue characterization, blood flow measurement, high frequency ultrasound, and
ultrasonic instrument for medical applications, etc. Dr. Huang is a senior member
of IEEE
讲座内容 Ultrasound elastography has been used for many clinical applications, such as breast cancer and liver cancer detection. Currently, three different methods have been used for ultrasound elastography: compressional elastography, acoustic radiation force impulse (AFRI) imaging, and shear wave imaging. However, the resolutions of these elastographies are not good enough for several micro-structure tissues imaging, such as eye, intravascular ultrasound, and small animal applications. Therefore, we developed the high resolution elastography based on ARFI imaging and shear wave imaging for these tissues. Experiments were carried out by eye, vessel, and mice brain. All the results showed a good performance of the high resolution elastography.
